Isla Jane was born in Naarm October 22nd 2004 and died in Naarm October 7th 2024.

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi- wurrung and Boowurrung people of the Kulin Nations on who’s Country my daughter inhabited. I honour their ancestors,elders and knowledge holders for sharing their land, waterways and skies with Isla. She was a true steward of the earth and played her part in reconciliation, justice and truth telling. This land was forcibly taken by colonialist violence that supports racism and misogyny to this day. Dispossession continues through governments, companies and individuals. Sovereignty has never been ceded. This is Stolen Land.I acknowledge that colonisation is an ongoing process and that I benefit from this process as a woman of Irish and English descent living on the lands of the Nations.
